The inauguration will enable better communication with the investment zones located in the vicinity of Praszka, Poland, thus influencing the economic development of the entire Opolskie Voivodeship
ACCIONA, through its Polish subsidiary Mostostal Warsawa, has inaugurated the Praszka bypass, part of the DK45 national highway in Poland.
The project, with a budget of more than 37 million euros, involved the design and construction of a 12.8-kilometer bypass with a dual carriageway and a load capacity of 11.5 tons per axle. The project also included the construction of 10 bridges and four roundabouts, as well as the installation of environmental protection and traffic safety equipment. The entire technical infrastructure (water and sewerage, gas, electricity, telecommunications and drainage) was also rebuilt.
The bypass is located at a considerable distance from built-up areas, thus ensuring traffic comfort and safety, and connects the Wielkopolskie, Opolskie and Śląskie voivodeships. The new road will enable better communication with the investment zones located in the vicinity of the DK45 road, thus influencing the economic development of the Opolskie region.
The opening ceremony was attended by, among others, Rafal Weber, the Polish Deputy Minister of Infrastructure; Slawomir Kłosowski, the Governor of Opole, local government officials and representatives of ACCIONA’s Polish subsidiary: Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice-President of the Board of Directors, and Krzysztof Michalak, Contract Director.
