Silence allows users to buy the motorcycle without a battery and power it through a battery subscription instead
Silence, ACCIONA's electric vehicle manufacturer, presented today its range of products and services at Automobile Barcelona, Europe's leading annual motor show. This year, the brand is unveiling its first electric car, the S04, which will go on sale in the coming months.
The two-seater model –the company's first electric nanocar– leads to the urban mobility of the future, as it is comfortable, safe, sustainable and easy to park thanks to its small size.
In addition to the S04, Silence's electric motorcycle models will also be on display at the stand: the S01 (the leader in sales in its segment across Europe), the S01+ (the premium version with the best features and equipment in its category) and the S02 (with a more austere design and a more affordable price).
All Silence vehicles operate with the same removable battery, which includes wheels and a handle for its convenient and safe trolley-like transportation. This system allows users to remove the batteries and charge them easily at any household socket, in addition to charging the batteries directly from the vehicle.
These removable batteries have facilitated the creation of Battery Stations, battery exchange points where users can leave their empty battery and pick up another one that is 100% charged, in an operation that takes just 30 seconds.
Based on this system, Silence allows users to buy the motorcycle without a battery and power it through a battery subscription instead, for them to save up to 40% on the initial purchase price of the vehicle.
The Battery Station will be one of the main protagonists of Silence’s stand throughout the show. In different sessions, visitors will be invited to carry out a battery exchange to demonstrate the ease and speed of the exchange system.
The Silence stand will be present at Automobile Barcelona until Sunday, May 21st. In addition, from now until May 14th, the public will also be able to attend the MOTOh! show, where visitors will be able to try out Silence's electric motorcycles.
