The services awarded to ACCIONA Service will give Michelin greater flexibility and capacity to adapt to production circumstances. Furthermore, thanks to its experience in providing auxiliary services in the automotive sector, ACCIONA Service will offer advice from its ‘Competence Center’, staffed by of a team of experts that provide consultancy at a contract start-up and on the continuous improvement of processes and problem-solving.

Michelin’s factory at Aranda de Duero opened in 1970. It started to specialize in truck tires in 1995 and is the most productive industrial facility of its type in the Michelin Group.

With this contract, ACCIONA Service extends its customer base and consolidates it benchmark position as an end-to-end manager of auxiliary services in the automotive sector, in which it has signed over 30 contracts in 10 countries with leading vehicle manufacturers. It was recently awarded a contract to provide cleaning services for the factories of CNH Industrial in Spain - where IVECO vehicles are produced - and it also includes some of the most prestigious firms in the sector among its customers, for example Citroën, Ford, General Motors, Nissan, Renault and Seat.
