• Accessibility and efficiency: The new headquarters will centralize services, making them more accessible and more operationally and financially efficient

ACCIONA, in a joint venture with Torrescamara and Gestaser, has been awarded the contract for the construction of the new headquarters of Spain’s National Tax Administration Agency (AEAT) in Valencia.

The project, with a €73 million budget, involves the construction of a new facility with three basement floors for parking and two buildings, one with nine stories on the south façade and another one with seven stories on the north façade. The total built surface area of the new facility will exceed 50,000 square meters and will accommodate up to 1,500 employees dedicated to services such as the land registry, fiscal intervention and the regional Economic Administrative Court of Valencia.

The regrouping of this staff, currently scattered throughout the province, will centralize services, making them more accessible to citizens, while increasing the operational and financial efficiency of the public agency. Only the Regional Customs Unit, which will remain located in Valencia’s Maritime Customs complex, and the Integrated Digital Assistance Administration (ADI), which will be moved to its definitive location in the Customs complex’s annex during the next fiscal year, are left out of this project.
