ACCIONA launched today the new version of the Silence S01, the best-selling electric scooter in Europe over the last five years, which adds significant new features, such as renewed rear suspension and increased top speed and acceleration. 

The new S01 is equipped with fully adjustable rear shock absorbers with a separate tube. In addition, the S01 Plus – the top-of-the-line version – incorporates a shock absorber of the prestigious Öhlins brand, which raises its performance to provide an even safer and more comfortable ride.

It also features improvements to the powertrain, which has increased both top speed, now exceeding 110km/h, and acceleration, making it the equivalent of a 125cc motorcycle. 

In terms of design, the Silence S01 features a new livery. While maintaining its simple and elegant style, it now incorporates larger logos that are integrated into its aesthetics.

These changes make the new S01 a perfect motorbike for intercity roads, which is a competitive advantage over similar electric motorcycles.

Regarding the price, the new Silence S01 in the subscription mode (where the customer buys the scooter, but subscribes to the battery use) will be offered for €3,950 and its price with an included battery will be €4,950. The Plus version, the most highly equipped one, will be priced between €5,140 and €6,140 depending on the type of purchase. 

The Silence S01, like the rest of the company's vehicles, is entirely designed and built in Spain, thus consolidating its position as one of the clear examples of reindustrialization and transition to a green economy.

SILENCE ECOSYSTEM

All vehicles manufactured by Silence, ACCIONA's mobility brand, have removable batteries. Thanks to this, users can swap their batteries at more than 160 ACCIONA Battery Stations across Spain.

These exchange points, located in service stations, parking lots, Silence dealerships, etc., allow users to replace their battery with a charged one in just 30 seconds, which is even faster than refueling. The entire process, from the search of the station to the payment for the consumed energy, is managed through a mobile app.

As they are removable, the batteries can also be charged at any socket at home, at work or in any convenient place.
