• ACCIONA’s average score was above the industry average in the aspects evaluated

The Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC) has recognized ACCIONA for its high standards of management and incorporation of good sustainability practices implemented in the various projects underway in Chile, awarding it the PRO Seal, a voluntary certification aimed at raising sustainability standards in the industry.

Obtaining the PRO Seal ratifies ACCIONA’s commitment to the seven Pillars of Sustainability defined by the CChC, by achieving an average score above the industry average in the areas evaluated: Community, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, Employees, Value Chain, Governance and Innovation, and Productivity.

“The award of this Seal reflects the fact that the pillars and values of sustainability that we promote globally at ACCIONA are implemented, managed and embraced in each of our projects. We are very proud to be leading the transformation process of this industry towards a more sustainable one, and we are very committed to continue raising the standards of best practices,” explained Diego Pini, ACCIONA’s director of Infrastructure for the Southern Cone.

At the award ceremony, Sergio Díaz, deputy manager of Sustainability at the Chilean Chamber of Construction, highlighted ACCIONA’s performance in the aspects evaluated, confirming its position as a benchmark company in the field of sustainability in the construction industry.

The PRO Seal was created in 2021 as an initiative of the CChC inspired by the Considerate Constructors Scheme in the United Kingdom, and represented a milestone for good business practices in Chile, aimed at improving relations with the community and generating a positive impact of the works on the environment and workers.
