ACCIONA is completing the final works of the renovation project of the Parador Nacional de Ibiza, which was awarded to the company in 2019 by Turespaña, an agency attached to the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, with a budget of almost 22 million euros.

On the occasion of the imminent completion of the works, the President of Paradores, Raquel Sánchez, and the General Secretary of Paradores, Ricardo Mar, visited the project, accompanied by Félix Parro, ACCIONA’s project manager, and Álvaro Balbas, site manager.

ACCIONA’s work has focused on Ibiza Castle and the hillside between the San Jorge and San Bernat bastions, at the top of Puig de Vila in the island’s municipality, where the Parador de Ibiza and a three-story underground parking lot have been built. The Parador consists of a heterogeneous group of buildings within the military fortress, with a surface areas of more than 8,000 m2. It will have 68 rooms and 40 parking spaces.

The opening of the Ibiza Parador, which will be one of the most emblematic in the network of Paradores de Turismo due to its architectural and technical characteristics, is scheduled for the beginning of 2025.
