  • The agreement signed with the UPM will strengthen the links between academia and the Spanish business sector

ACCIONA’s Chairman, José Manuel Entrecanales, and the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), Oscar García Suárez, have signed an agreement aimed at promoting international training for students at the School of Civil Engineering (ETSICCP).

With this agreement, ACCIONA undertakes to provide financial support to students participating in the new double degree programs recently signed by the ETSICCP of the UPM with the Australian universities UTS (University of Technology Sydney) and RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology).

Thanks to this agreement, students will have the opportunity to complement their training at top Australian universities and, at the same time, start their professional careers in a country with immense opportunities by joining one of the leading Spanish companies in the world of infrastructure.

In this way ACCIONA reinforces its commitment to the training of future professionals, ensuring a direct link with highly qualified talent and a dual academic perspective. Likewise, the collaboration will allow the UPM to promote academic excellence and establish strategic links with leading universities around the world.
