  • The study entitled “The EU’s economic and business relations with ASEAN countries and the implications for Spain”, published by the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, was presented during the session.

On 27 May, ACCIONA took part in a webinar presenting the study entitled “The EU’s economic and business relations with the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the implications for Spain”, published by the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation.

Rubén Camba, Southeast Asia Director for ACCIONA’s infrastructure division, took part in the event that brought together representatives from some of the leading Spanish firms that are active abroad, as well as delegates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, among others.

During the event, which focused on Asia as one of the continents with the greatest economic potential, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation reaffirmed its commitment to promoting a greater presence of Spanish companies in the region thanks to its political, economic and scientific determination and its demographic importance.

The study analysed the existing relationships with these nations and the opportunities for Spain, the EU’s economic and business relationships with ASEAN countries and the implications for Spain, as well as success stories of Spanish companies in the region, among other matters.
