Sustainable finance

To improve the quality of treated sea water for the Barcelona coastline area, modernise and complete the previous purification plant, decrease the use of reagents eliminating the current physical-chemical process, improve the deodorising process and the integration of the purification plant in the urban area.

The selected process is an activated sludge system which includes: 9 biological reactors, 18 secondary decanters, 4 centrifuges, sludge thickeners, and the corresponding deodorising facilities.
