ACCIONA has more than 150 years of experience in the construction of railway infrastructures, leaving its mark on hundreds of projects. It has designed and executed more than 3,000 kilometres of railway tracks, over 1,700 km of which are high speed.

ACCIONA has a great deal of expertise in the maritime operations industry, and is equipped with the latest technological resources and machinery. One example is the Kugira floating dock, one of the largest of its type in the world, capable of producing caissons 70m long x 36m wide x 35m high in just ten days.
The key to the company's success in infrastructure and transport services is to cover the entire value chain, from identifying the opportunity, planning and potential financing, design and construction, to the operation and maintenance of the works carried out. This optimises synergies between the different phases and provides integral solutions for highly complex projects.
ACCIONA also develops high-efficiency telecommunications transmission lines and data centres with a low environmental impact.
ACCIONA also documents the life cycle analysis, applied in different projects. These comprehensive certifications include the environmental footprint of products through the Environmental Product Declaration.
The company's R&D investment makes it a pioneer in most of its transport infrastructure projects. ACCIONA has launched the Construction Technology Centre, which analyses the development of the works and adjusts the parameters in terms of the environment, digital transformation, sustainable processes or the circular economy.
ACCIONA monitors the works and implements preventive maintenance by digitalising projects using the Internet of Things (IoT) and real-time information gathering devices. All of this reduces costs and time spent on the works and increases worker safety.
