• Both certifications endorse the company's commitment to a culture of integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

ACCIONA Energía has obtained the double certification from AENOR for its Criminal Compliance Management System (UNE 19601 standard), and for Anti-Bribery Management (ISO 37001 standard). Both certifications endorse the company's commitment to a culture of integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

The awards ceremony was attended by the Director of AENOR in Madrid Enrique Megía, who handed over both certifications to Rafael Mateo, the CEO of ACCIONA Energía, and Carla Morenés, Ethics & Compliance Officer.

The objective of the UNE 19601 standard is to endow organizations with established structure, methodology, and management models to prevent the crimes in Article 31 bis of the Spanish Criminal Code. The ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System standard offers organizations a model for preventing, detecting, and managing bribery and corruption in compliance with national and international legislation, and it includes other voluntary commitments.

These certifications are the main reference to design criminal risk prevention systems and are inspired by the highest international standards in this field. They represent the best practices in management systems to prevent crime, reduce risks and promote an ethical business culture and in compliance with the law.

By obtaining these certifications, ACCIONA Energía moves forward in its implementation of best practices in compliance and ethics, reinforcing the fight against corruption and creating a greater culture of integrity and transparency.
